The mass and energy change speed of the TiB2 coating paste for aluminum electrolysis during its solidification and carbonization process was studied by the DTG and DDTA, and a reasonable heating program of solidification and carbonization was established. On this basis, the effect of heating program on the properties of TiB2 cathode coating was investigated.
