Unfortunately, it has been shownthat these methods are not suitable to study about chemical bonds due to not involvingchemical bonds. In order to consider chemical bonds obviously, we have proposed an atom-bondelectronegativity equalization model on the basis of density-functionaltheory and electronegativity equalization principle. The main contents of our atom-bond electronegativity equalization model contain:(1)Considering the fact that there are varies of chemical bonds in molecules andpartitioning the molecular electron density as summations of atomic electron densitiesand chemical bond's electron densities, we obtained the basic equations of atom-bondelectronegativity equalization model: the expression of the total energy 〓, theexpression of the atom electronegativity 〓 and the expression of the bondelectronegativity 〓.

The results show that, the distribution of magnetic field and electromagnetic force in the aluminum film on the cathode slope are in symmetry to the long axis of the cell, especially the magnetic force is in the same direction as the gravity force, which is in favor of the aluminum discharging from the cathode slope. The highest fluctuation of aluminum pad surface in the accumulation sump is 0.021 m, which still remains within the safe range, and will not cause interpolar short circuit, so a normal operation process could be maintained with the same bus bar configuration as the current 75 kA aluminum reduction cells.

In this thesis, the heterojunction with intrinsic hydrogenated amorphous silicon thin layer ( heterojunction with intrinsic thin layer: HIT) solar cells are investigated. The solar cell structure of p/i/n are fabricated. The substrate is a typical 4-inch n-type wafer with (100) crystal orientation, 1~10 ohm-cm and about 525 μm thickness. The p and i a-Si:H layers are deposited by a 13.56 MHz plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition. The i a-Si:H layers are especially deposited by pulse-wave modulation plasma technique with fixed plasma turn-off time toff = 10 ms and changed plasma turn-on time ton= 10 to 40 ms to selectively control the different silicon to hydrogen bonding configurations. The effect of various Si:H bonds on the performance of HIT solar cells are explored.
