本文尝试从叙事学的角度，综合运用电影叙事学、电影语言学的知识对张艺谋导演的电影作品加以梳理和分析，从叙事内容、叙事结构、叙事话语等三大方面，将张艺谋电影的题材选取、人物塑造及其叙事模式和基本话语进行了比较系统的论说；试图总结出张艺谋在叙事方面的优长与缺失，并希冀自己的工作会为电影叙事学的分析和研究提供一个生动的案例。
