Our group is interested in plant secondary metabolism and cotton biology. Current research projects include characterization of transcription factors and small RNAs involved in controlling cotton fiber and Arabidopsis development; investigation of terpenoid biosynthesis, particularly in Artemisia annua; and genetic engineering of cotton fiber development, plant resistance to insects, and artemisinin production.
