The purpose was to select the suitable concn. of ABT rooting powder for the rooting of Euonymus japonicus in hardwood cutting.

Result indicated that:(1) Different ground substance has effection ,taixian is the best one for rooting.

试验结果表明：（1）不同基质对扦插苗瓶外生根率影响较大，且苔藓是其扦插生根的最优基质。

Cultured in MS medium with different concentration of calcium, explants of Luffa Cylindrica, which could not generate root in usual medium, generated roots with enhanced rates and amounts according to the concentration of supplemented calcium. Moreover, some explants show transformed root from either shoot or flower bud.

在正常Ca2+浓度下，仅激素处理不能生根的丝瓜外植体，处以不同Ca2+浓度处理时，随Ca2+浓度升高，外植体生根数明显加快并增多，且有少量植株叶腋处异化生根，在一定程度上改变了腋芽的发育方向，这说明Ca2+改变了卷须芽或花芽的发育方向，使其发育为根。

The result indicates that the main influence factor on rootage of Photinia serrulata was hormones kind,and the next came cuttings types and cutting substrates.Hormone concentration had the least influence on cutting rootage.

This article discussed preventing carnation rottenness, enhancing survival of carnation cutrage and cutting cost of carnation production. We carried out contrastive experiments with carnation cuttage which applied five bactericides added rootone ABT and studied on effect of bactericide to antisepsis of cuttage rootage.

Brevicaulis was lower than that of A japonica, A. mamillata and A. crispa, when they were inoculated in the same rooting medium. The effect of NAA on shoot rooting of Ardisia was limited. The influence of NAA (0.5 mg/L) on sterile shoot rooting of A japonica, A. crispa and A. brevicaulis was poor when in comparison with IAA (0.5 mg/L) and IBA (0.3 mg/L or 0.5 mg/L), but it had no significant difference between NAA and other auxins on shoot rooting of A.

The result showed that rooting intube was better and the best medium was WPM, adding NAA 0.01 mg·L-1+IBA0.5 mg·L-1+sucrose 20 g·L-1,on which the rate of rooting was 55%.
