As aresult, characteristic K series X-ray fluorescence of rare earths emitted. X-ray wasdetected by high purity planar Ge after transmitting Be window. The signals wereamplified by pre-amplifier or main amplifier, and the amulated signals are converted todigital ones.

对溶剂萃取法生产稀土流程中的有机相和水相试样，采用放射性核素〓的59.6keV单色能量激发稀土元素，得到特征K系X射线荧光，透过Be窗经高纯平面锗半导体探测器检测其强度，再经放大器、模数转换和多道缓冲存诸记录试样的能谱。
