The difference between Euro-American modernity and Chinese modernity is that Chinese modernity is an alternative project, which has been framed and produced by what I call a permanent condition of contemporaneity.

欧美的现代性与中国的现代性两者间的差异在于，中国的现代性是全然不同的概念，由我所称的当代性的永恒条件所框定和提出。

首先，考察了张天翼小说的写实性追求和批判性强化，他能够始终坚持写实的精神，并融入自己的生命体悟，赋予其时代的意义，影响了新文学作家的创作思维，为正在前进中的左翼文学找到了新的路向；其次，张天翼借鉴了一些戏剧性的创作因素来实现其讽刺的意图，对30年代的讽刺文学产生了重要影响，扩大了其影响，促使着讽刺文学逐渐走向繁兴；再次，张天翼小说的现代性探求对中国现代文学的现代性转型做出了初步的整合和规范来看待现实主义思潮在中国的流变，其所具有的现代性价值与意义，有力地促使着文学在1930年代向现代化的迈进。

Modernity is approached from the two aspects of ideological idea and institution, and with the focus on the differentiation of the inspection of modernity and the introspectiveness of modernity, it is pointed out that the interaction and development of the two parts helps to establish rational modernity.

本文从感性现代性、启蒙现代性和审美现代性三种现代性的视角进入五四时期郑振铎文学思想的研究，选取了五四时期对文化界影响比较大的人道主义、科学主义、浪漫主义和古典主义四种社会思潮来观照和考察郑振铎的文学思想，并注意它们之间错综复杂的关系对郑振铎文学思想的影响，在这个基础上进一步研究和思考五四文学现象。
