A model describing the relationship between recovery stress and temperature is developed based on the modified Clausius-Clapeyron equation. A composite model based on the Tanaka model is used to calculate the thermal expansion strain of composite, and the relationship between the martensitic fraction and temperature. Results show that this relationship is nonlinear, affected by prestrain and the heating-cooling history.

The results show that the alloy undergoes obvious plastic elongation, the specimen fractures into four sections and the diameter changes from 16 mm to 12 mm. The fracture surfaces distribute randomly well developed and partially developed veinal patterns. The deformation behavior of alloy is non-Newtonian flow behavior. About 3% amorphous matrix of extruded specimen transforms crystal, the crystal particles with size of 10-20 mm are precipitated in the amorphous matrix, the thermostability of the extruded specimen was lowered. The failure of the alloy is mainly attributed to non-uniform viscous flow under high strain rate resulting from the hydrostatic extrusion process.

Compared with one-layered a-C:F films prepared in the same conditions, the SiOx/a-C:F/SiOx multiple-layered films had a better thermal stability.

An ultra-high strength, weldable, low alloy steel with excellent cryogenic temperature toughness in the base plate and in the heat affected zone when welded, having a tensile strength greater than 830 MPa (120 ksi) and a micro-laminate microstructure comprising austenite film layers and fine-grained martensite/lower bainite laths, is prepared by heating a steel slab comprising iron and specified weight percentages of some or all of the additives carbon, manganese, nickel, nitrogen, copper, chromium, molybdenum, silicon, niobium, vanadium, titanium, aluminum, and boron; reducing the slab to form plate in one or more passes in a temperature range in which austenite recrystallizes; finish rolling the plate in one or more passes in a temperature range below the austenite recrystallization temperature and above the Ar3 transformation temperature; quenching the finish rolled plate to a suitable Quench Stop Temperature; stopping the quenching; and either, for a period of time, holding the plate substantially isothermally at the QST or slow-cooling the plate before air cooling, or simply air cooling the plate to ambient temperature.

In this paper, preliminary FDS fire chamber to simulate the flue gas generated through the corridor adjacent to the room near the migration laws, an analysis of indoor air flow field and the movement of smoke layer, and through the simulation of fire scenes, in a simple form of visual dynamic display of the entire process of fire, in the simulation process to obtain more accurate fire-related parameters such as temperature distribution, gas flow and heat radiation, and analysis of simulation results through the fire chamber of the flue gas migration characteristics, results showed that the chamber in the absence of fire smoke control measures, the process of the spread of smoke filled the first chamber is at the top, with the passage of time, the proliferation of slowly downward until the entire chamber is full, and then through the corridor smoke quickly spread to the nearby chamber.

Bubble nucleating and porosity were improved by adding lignin granule, and cell size of the polyurethane foam was decreased. Not only physical property but also thermal property of the material were enhanced. Compared with soft polyurethane foam, tensile strength of lignin reticulated polyurethane foam was raised by 140% at most which lignin content was 5%, and the heat-degradation temperature at the first stage was 50℃ more than soft polyurethane foam which lignin content was 10%. There had been a great improvement in heat resistance of the material. It was showed that weight of biological film reached to 10000 mg/L and 12100 mg/L when the lignin content of the polyurethane foams was 5% and 8% respectively via 30-day biofilm formation testing.
