Investigation shows that decreasing the bed thickness and mix moisture and increasing the fuel content of raw mix and granularity of coke breeze can all increase the FeO content in sinter. In addition, reducing R and increasing SiO2 content in sinter can also increase FeO content.

结果表明，只要控制好混合料的化学组成（Al2O3含量、Al2O3/SiO2比等），就可采用此工艺制备出莫来石料，其烧结温度为1700℃，所得莫来石料的显气孔率大于2.5%、体积密度大于或等于2.75g/cm3；加热过程可分为一次莫来石形成、二次莫来石化和液相烧结3个阶段。
