The present development of high temperature proton conductors with high chemical stability as electrolyte materials for protonic ceramic membrane fuel cells is reviewed, as well as the influence of novel element doping strategies on the chemical stability, ionic conductivity and sinterability for BaCeO3-based materials.

Skutterudite compounds, Sr y Co 4 Sb12- x Te x , were synthesized by melting method and SPS method, the thermal and electrical properties were measured in the temperature range from 300K to 850K.
