Under the supports of NSFC, we reported the earliest euprimate skull. Based on allometric regression analysis and cladistic analysis, we hypothesized that the last common ancestor of the euprimate was a small, diurnal and insectivorous animal. This suggestion challenged the traditional ideas, which predicted that the last common ancestor of the euprimates was nocturnal or frugivorous animal.
