The dormant bud of apple variety Gala was smeared with potassium nitrate at 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%, and the dormant bud of grape variety Jufeng was smeared with calcium cyanamide diluted at 2,5 and 8 times (weight ratio of calcium cyanamide to water was 1:2).
