The editing criteria of multi-satellite altimeter data are devised and data are pre-processed. In order to realize the full potential of satellite radar altimetry data, it is necessary to take into account a number of error sources and apply their associated corrections with an accuracy that is compatible with the proposed measurement precision.

分析并研究了卫星测高误差的来源及其削弱或消除方法，以用户手册的编辑标准为基础，参照并综合国际上同行的编辑方法，制定了针对不同测高数据的编辑准则，改善了各种地球物理改正的精度。

For the automatic scaling and analysis of the ionospheric parameters, a method based on the empirical orthogonal function analysis of the ionospheric electron density profiles is proposed in this paper. This method is applied to the measured ionograms of CADI (Canadian Advanced Digital Ionosonde), which is set up at Beijing Space Environment Observation Station (403°N, 1162°E).

本文针对电离层频高图参数的实时自动度量和分析问题，提出了一种基于电子浓度高度剖面经验正交函数(Empirical Orthogonal Function，简称EOF)分析的频高图参数自动度量方法，并将该方法应用到位于北京空间环境观测站(403°N，1162°E)的CADI(Canadian Advanced Digital Ionosonde)数字测高仪观测频高图的实时自动度量和分析上。

With the idea of finite approximation, we study a new solution method for the satellite altimetry problem. Our result shows that if the continental part of the earth is sphere cap, then the solution of satellite altimetry problem can be transformed into a linear system of equations with variants of the coefficients of spherical harmonic series. We prove that the linear system of equations is separated about the orders of spherical harmonic series.

研究了球界面下卫星测高问题的解法，利用有限逼近方法得到了下列结论：若陆地部分是球冠，则卫星测高问题的解可以转换成关于球谐级数位系数的线性方程组，并且位系数的阶和次是以分离形式出现的，从而确保该解法具有实用意义。

The data of the ionospheric critical frequencies, f0F2 and f0E, observed by a Digisonde Portable Sounder (DPS-4) at Zhongshan station of Antarctica in 1996, the hemispheric power index and the midnight equatorward boundary of the aurora estimated by the observation of American NOAA and DMSP satellites are used to examine features of the polar ionosphere.
