During the material filling tooth cavity, dead zone volumes exist and situate on the areas with sparse teeth distribution. The full filling or not of the ratchet tooth tips, as the final filling region of the forming process, determines the super-plastic forming quality. Adopting smaller punch speed or longer load holding time is necessary for full filling of the tooth tips.
