第二讲：施洗约翰与耶稣有没有受死海古卷影响？

It must have been an extraordinary sight as the people crowded along the banks of the Jordan River to listen to John the Baptizer.

民众为了聆听施洗约翰的讲道而拥挤在约旦河边的景象，一定非常奇特。

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.2 As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,"Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way; 3 the voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight —" 4 John the baptizer appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

天主子耶稣基督福音的开始，正如依撒意亚先知书上记载的：「看，我派遣我的使者在祢面前，预备祢的道路。旷野中有呼号者的声音：你们当预备上主的道路，修直祂的途径。」此时，若翰出现在旷野里施洗，并宣讲悔改的洗礼，以赦免罪过。

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of Thy most honourable Mother, Thy fleshless Angels, Thy Prophet and Forerunner and Baptizer, all the God-inspired Apostles, the radiant and victorious Martyrs, the holy and God-bearing Fathers, and by the prayers of all Saints, deliver me from the besetting presence of the devil.

主耶稣基督，上帝之子，因着你至尊的圣母；你的无形众天使；你的先知，前驱，施洗者；受天启者诸圣宗徒，光辉凯旋的众殉道者；可敬而心怀上帝的诸圣教父；以及所有圣者的祈祷，求你解救我脱离魔鬼频繁的攻击。
