洗

I baptize you with water so that you will give up your sins.

我是用水给你们施洗，叫你们悔改。

I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

我以水洗你们，他却要以圣神洗你们。

He will baptize you with the holy Spirit and fire.

他要以圣神和火洗你们。

John answered them, saying, I baptize with water

But there standeth One among you, whom ye know not, He shall baptize with water and with fire.

This is why it was such a surprise to John that later Jesus asked John to baptize him.
