Methods 80 cases of periarthritis of shoulder were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,40 cases in each group was treated with needleknife therapy or local blocking therapy respectively combined with functional exercise.

将80例肩周炎患者随机分为治疗组和对照组各40例，分别给予针刀或局部封闭治疗，配合功能锻炼，共治疗3次后进行两组临床疗效的对比研究。

The treatment group was treated with conventional therapy plus compound formula of pericarpium trichosanthis and allium macrostemi ,while the control group only with conventional therapy.

Results There were significant differences between one-phase and two-phase treatment, we found the more mandible growth in two-phase treatment, and more dental compensation in one phase-treatment, such as retractive upper incisiors and procline of lower teeth.
