结果表明，水稻土的适宜耕层厚度为15 cm左右，旱耕地适宜耕层厚度应不低于20cm；成土母质对产量的影响以河湖沉积物母质最好，稻田以板页岩母质最差，旱耕地以紫色砂页岩母质最差；水稻以酸性土最好，旱作以中性土最好；研究区稻田有35.2%的存在障碍层，且多为中、高位障碍，是影响水稻产量整体提高的主要因素；水稻和旱作都以壤土为最好，其中，稻作怕砂，旱作怕粘；水稻土适宜的容重为1.00—1.29 g/cm~3。

Among these reasons, the loose soil texture, which was formed in the fluviolacustrine sediment during Quaternary, establish the physical ground, and the drought and wind is the natural force of grassland desertification. And then over-cutting forest, over-grazing grassland, imbalance of resource utilization and estrepement reduce the coverage of vegetation, therefore provide necessary conditions for the grassland desertification.

其中，形成于第四纪河湖相沉积沙的疏松土壤母质，为日后土壤风蚀奠定了深厚的物质基础；干旱多风的气候条件构成了草地风蚀沙化的自然营运力；而人为过度砍伐沙地林木资源、沙质草地长期超载放牧、资源利用不平衡以及乱垦、滥挖等不合理经济行为，又降低了沙化草地植被覆盖度，为草地风蚀沙化提供了必要条件。

The lithologic characters changed from fluviolacustrine sandstone to aeolian Red Clay with thin interval of greyish-white sand layers at the depth of 602 m. It can be inferred from the rock strata and age that the development age of aeolian sequence in Lanzhou area was 7 Ma at least, which is in accordance with the bottom age (7~8 Ma) of the aeolian sequence of the eastern and central Loess Plateau, suggesting that their accumulation processes are unitary.

We have observed the structure of these dune sands and analyzed the grain-size,surface textural features and several main chemical elements of them,the results showed that:(1) these dune sands have some eolian structure characteristics which are similar to the recent dune sands;(2) they are also similar to the recent dune sands in grain-size components,and parameters of Mz,?滓,Sk and Kg,as well as in several main chemical components;(3) the scatter plots of Mz-?滓,SiO2-Al2O3+TOFE and the probability curves of grain-size showed that these paleo dune sands are different from paleosols and fluvio-lacustrine facies but are consistency with recent dune sands;and(4) the quartz sands have well roundness and some surface textural features such as dish-shape pits,crescent-shape pits,pockmarked pits,upturned cleavage plates,siliceous precipitates and siliceous crevasses,indicating that they had been carried for a long time by the wind.

对这些沙丘砂的沉积构造观察以及粒度、扫描电镜和常量化学元素分析结果表明：(1)这些沙丘砂具有与现代沙丘砂相似的风成沉积构造特征；(2)粒度及其参数--Mz、σ、Sk和Kg，以及主要化学组分SiO2、Al2O3和TOFE也与现代沙丘砂相近；(3)Mz-σ、SiO2-Al2O3+TOFE散点图和概率累积曲线显示这些沙丘砂与萨拉乌苏组中的河湖相、古土壤差别明显，而与现代沙丘砂一致；(4)石英砂颗粒具有良好的磨圆以及碟形坑、新月形坑、麻坑、上翻解理薄片、硅质沉淀和硅质裂纹等表面结构特征，反映其曾受持久的风力搬运作用。
