本论文主要针对国内已完成整治加油站污染场址，经由场址背景资料汇整与场址采用整治方式之适切性及其成效做探讨，分析几个影响整治成果之因素，包括采样位置、污染时间、地下水位等，进一步选定常见的土壤气体抽除法及空气注入法成功案例评析，而依据各场址整治流程发现，整治工法能否成功，掌握改善作业之关键点因素是最重要的部分，如场址特徵，污染物扩散情形、土壤质地，及是否适合现地整治等，由於土壤气体抽除法及空气注入法之整治方式，主要为物理性机制，牵涉到一些基本流体力学的计算，只要掌握足够之变数因子，利用推导方式，设置适合之整治井数量，通常应能获得预期之成效，但前提仍是现地场址的特性调查须完整，如此推导之结果才具有足够之可信度，由於国内整治计画及成果报告内容中，针对污染场址所施行工法的设计参数资料大多仅略述，仅将重点放在整治后采样之数据上，因此往往其整治成效在理论推导上较缺乏支持。
