为提高紫色土蓄水能力，防止水土流失，在湖南省衡阳县选择20o 左右的紫色土荒山坡地，设置祼地、自然草地、龙须草地和龙须草与林地复合4 个处理，比较分析各处理贮水性能及其改良机理。结果表明，与裸地相比，在紫色土荒山坡地上实行龙须草与林木立体种植1～2 年后，土壤容重降低0.09～0.10g/cm3，土壤总孔隙度增加14.01%，土壤水分渗透速率提高2.20～2.29 倍。
