The motion of manganese nodules in the hoist pipe for the deep sea mining was forecasted by the model. By the simulated results, the smaller nodules, the proper hoist flow velocity and the suitable transportation concentration will ensure the safety and efficiency of the hoist system.

利用该数值模型对锰结核粗颗粒在深海采矿扬矿管中运动的预测结果表明，为保证锰结核粗颗粒水力提升扬矿管的安全，应当控制最大颗粒粒径，并采用适中的输送速度和输送浓度。
