By using GIStechniques, them were discussed that the eco-environmental conditions andimpacts of spatial and temporal on tourism development in the centralurban area-Dongsheng District in the recent years. 主要工作包括：(1)从系统发展的角度出发，运用区域整体分析法对鄂尔多斯市1998～2003年的旅游环境变化特点进行了评价，并对经济、社会文化和生态环境三方面发展的协调程度进行了分析；(2)应用GIS 软件、DEM、TM 影像图和相关气象资料对其中心城区——东胜区近年来的生态环境状况进行了定量分析，探讨了生态环境对旅游开发的时、空影响特征；(3)利用HANNA 仪器进行实地检测并结合TM 影像图，对鄂尔多斯市重点旅游景区——泊江海子高原湿地生态自然保护区的植被、水体和土壤进行了定性、定量分析，探讨了近年来旅游开发对生态环境的影响特征。
