Leaf sheaths shorter than internodes, loose, pilose or glabrescent; leaf blades linear, flat or convolute, rigid, 15–30 cm × 5–8 mm, glabrous or hairy, apex finely acuminate; ligule 0.3–0.5 mm. Panicle usually contracted, dense, infrequently looser, 15–35 cm; central axis and branches scabrid-hispidulous; branches 2.5–10 cm, fasciculate in middle part, ascending; pedicels scabrid, apex often with stiff bristles.

Culm sheaths orange, ca. 1/2 as long as internodes, leathery, densely dark brown strigose, base yellow-brown pubescent, outer margin dark brown ciliate, inner margin glabrous; auricles reflexed, suborbicular, large; oral setae in 1 row, radiate, to 2 cm; ligule obliquely arcuate or truncate, 2–3 mm, dark brown pubescent, margin lacerate and fimbriate with setae more than 1 cm; blade deciduous, reflexed, lanceolate, abaxially glabrous, adaxially densely yellow hirtellous toward base.

We have established primarily the nominal mothed and classified system acroding to the developmental pathways and the features of the glandular hairs of plants in labiatae in the ontogenesis. They are divided two groups, peltate and head and there are fifteen types.

在个体发育研究的基础上，我们按唇形科腺毛的发育过程和结构特点等，初步制定了唇形科腺毛的命名模式与分类系统，即把已经观察到的唇形科腺毛划分成头状腺毛类和盾状腺毛类两大&类&及其下的15&型&。

Stamens (4–)5–10(–25); filaments mostly pubescent towards base, rarely glabrous; ovary 5(–12)-locular, always scaly, sometimes also hairy; style long, slender, straight, curved, or sharply deflexed, glabrous or with scales or shortly pilose at base.

The results indicated that the strain was Mracemosus fresenius which belonged to Racemousus, Muco, Mucoraceae, Mucorales, Phycomycetes in Fungi. Its growth temperature was under 37℃, and the optimal temperature was determined to 28℃.
