橄榄

Bushy cell is one of the major constituent cell types in the ventral cochlear nucleus, which relays the majority of information from auditory nerve to the superior olivary complex, where the initial calculations for azimuthal sound localization are performed.

Bushy cell是位于耳蜗腹侧核(ventral cochlear nucleus，VCN)的一类细胞，由于声音信息大部分是通过它被传递到上橄榄核(superior olivary complex，SOC)进而进行声源定位信息处理，因此，bushy cell的信息处理特性对于听觉系统声源定位有重要的影响。
