Multiple antenna arrays are often used to overcome the effect of channel fading which is caused by multipath interference. In chapters 4 and 5 ,we derive spatial correlation equations of ULA ,UCA and CRA for two types of angular spread distributions (uniform distribution and truncated Gaussian distribution).We also compare the difference between these antenna arrays by showing the bit error rate simulation results and discuss the relationship between BER and spatial correlation. In a multi-user mobile radio environment , we present simulation results to show that adaptive MBER algorithms have better performance than the traditional MMSE algorithm.

The 3-D single phase simulation using CFX for the rod bundle channnel was going on by choosing the reasonable mathematical and physical models and boundary conditions. After a lot of numerical calculations, the sensitivity of gemotery was validated. The flow and heat transfer characteristics for several typical velocities were numerically analyzed and visually showed. The results show that the CFX simulation can be used for designing and optimizing fuel assembly in reactor engineering.

According to the function of distributed emulator, optical information processing and image multi-object tracking system, the following three aspects were emphasized in this dissertation. Firstly, a vast virtual terrain, ground radar models and canyons were created for the distributed emulator with modeling software Creator. The radars were driven to scan during emulating and the real time terrain code was sent to Radar module. Secondly, an optics channel simulating the optics camera of a virtual aircraft was implemented with simulating software Vega. The 2-D information got from the channel was translated and sent to multi-sensor information fusion system as an optics information source. Thirdly, the dissertation studied some motion estimation methods and analyzed the factors which influence the speed and the precision of the block matching algorithms. Then an improved block matching method was proposed for image multi-object tracking system and applied in the system combined with frame difference method.
