经TWINSPAN分析及参考DCA结果，可将植物社会区分为6个植群带10个植群型，分别为榕楠林带的茄冬‐大叶楠型；楠槠林带的黄杞‐长尾尖叶槠型；栎林带下层的台湾杜鹃型、大叶石栎‐猪脚楠型；栎林带上层的台湾扁柏‐台湾杜鹃型、台湾水青冈型及阿里山灰木‐白花八角型；铁杉‐云杉林带的台湾铁杉型、台湾二叶松型；冷杉林带的台湾冷杉型。

Of planted seedlings and conserved seedlings/saplings, 51.6% and 60.7% survived respectively. Thirteen months later, the seedling heights of Ficus septica, Mallotus repandus, Maacaranga tanarius, Melanolepis multiglandulosa, and Broussonetia kaempferi, and those of Hibiscus tiliaceus, Acacia confuse, and Mellettia pinnata increased more than 130 cm and 50 cm, respectively. The densities of the planted seedlings and conserved seedlings/saplings were 1610 and 680 per hectare, respectively. On the other hand, the density of Leucaena seedlings significantly decreased; and the height of Leucaena stayed steadily during the 13 months.

试验分经银合欢药剂注射处后，采用原生树苗下栽植及保天然新苗木方式进相旧，期间经过2次植栽周边除草抚育作业，栽植苗木及天然新苗木在13个月后之存活分别为51.6及60.7%，密分别为1610株／ha及680株／ha，其中果榕、扛香藤、血桐、虫屎、构树之苗高平均生长在130 cm以上，黄槿、相思树、水黄皮之苗高平均生长在50 cm以上；相对的，银合欢新幼苗在分经药剂处前之平均高为12.3 cm，密为236，000株／ha，药剂处后13个月，幼苗平均高为15.0 cm，幼苗密低至43，000/ha。
