By using PCR method, a 1kb fragment was gained from Heliothis amigera nuclear polyhedrosis virus genome. The whole fragment was sequenced by dideoxided chain termination methods and a full open reading frame which encode 299 amino-acids was found. The molecular weight of the peptide is about 35 kilodalton.
