Result Wild castor preformed better in halophilism than that of cultivar castor Zibi 6 under the NaCl treatment. One of the salt tolerant mechanisms of castor is to improve K(superscript +) uptake and transport to overground portion, thus to maintain K(superscript +)/Na(superscript +) homeostasis in leaves; on the other hand, the high stability of Photoreaction System Ⅱ plays a key role in maintaining the leaf photosynthetic rate under salt stress.

The species and the distribution of wild Hedychium ornamental resources in China were systematically investigated by the wild work and extensive review of literature and specimens. 26 species,2 varieties,1 form of wild Hedychium were introduced into Guangzhou in open ground and green house separately.

对我国姜花属野生花卉资源的种类、分布进行了系统的调查和研究，并在广州气候条件下对其中的26个种2个变种1个变型进行了露地和夏季降温温室引种栽培。

The results showed that:There are 32 species,2 varieties,1 form of wild Hedychium plants in China including 2 new species,1 new form and 2 new-recorded species;Some species have specific breeding potential in view of the color of flowers,the type of fragrance and the height of plant in this genus;10 species have wide distribution volumes,but some species with high ornamental values are endangered;17 taxa were successfully introduced into Guangzhou;High temperature in summer is the most important factor to restrict the introduction of Hedychium to Guangzhou.

结果显示：我国野生姜花属植物有32种、2变种和1变型，共计35个分类群；部分种类在花色、香型、株高等性状上具有特异性育种资源；10个分类群野外蕴藏量大，有少数具有较高观赏价值的种蕴藏量小，处于濒危状态，亟待保护；17个分类群在广州地区露地栽培条件下成功引种；夏季高温是姜花属野生种在广州地区引种的主要限制性因子。

I examined the specimens deposited at PE, KUN, IBK, IBSC, and HIB. And I required to take a lot of photos of type specimens in Harvard University Herbarium and several photos of type specimens in the herbaria in China, or downloaded some photos of type specimens at the website of NY, K, US, and HK. I went to Yunnan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Guanxi to collect specimens and observed the kiwifruits cultivated in Wuhan Botanical Garden and Guangxi Institute of Botany. With reference to the results of previous authors, I recognized 52 species including 16 varieties of Actinidia.
