In order to research the mechanism and effect of hydrodynamic cavitational enhancement, find the basic rule which affected it. The work has been carried out as following.First, an effective equipment of hydrodynamic cavitition is built. Second, we find a new method to capture the free radicals, which is used to measure the amount of hydroxyl. And its correlation with the intensity of cavitation has been studied aims at analyzing the effect of various factors on the yield of hydroxyl, achieving the optimum hydrodynamic cavitation conditions. Then, hydrodynamic cavitation is used to the degradation of organic wastewaters containing rhodamine B, and sterilization of biologic wastewaters containing enterobacter aerogenes. Finally, numerical simulation based on computer fluid dynamic has been made for verifying the effect of hydrodynamic cavitation theoretically.

The rubber seal issue under operating system has been studied by the theory of dynamic sealing. The deformation and stress distribution of rubber material were calculated under the well in-pressure and sealing out-pressure using then-linear finite element. Through the experimental study of the rubber strength and fatigue, the intensity limit and the fatigue life were obtained. According to the study results, a new type of sealing equipment was designed by adding the reinforcing steel bar into rubber core to reduce the maximum shear stress, so as to solve the problems of dynamic seal under hyperbaric pressure.

Based on the nonlinear dynamical model of the rotor-bearing system with rub-impact fault, the stability of the periodic motion of the system in unbalance-rotating speed plane and rotor/stator clearance- rotating speed plane were studied by the continuation-shooting algorithm. The system periodic motion and its stability were obtained. An experimental setup was developed to investigate nonlinear vibration characteristics of such rotor bearing system.
