The result showed that OmpK genes contained an open reading frame of 786?bp-849?bp that coded 261-282 amino acids in 19 strains of Vibrios.The similarities of the nucleotide sequences of OmpK genes were 72%-100% and the deduced amino acid sequences were 71%-100% among 19 strains of Vibrios.

In this study, 105 TDFs were in silico mapped in the rice high-density linkage map. Nineteen TDFs were mapped to the quantitative trait loci regions for root growth under water-limited conditions in, at least, two of three rice populations derived from three crosses with the same parent of Azucena (Bala×Azucena, IR64×Azucena and IR1552×Azucena). Four of 19 genes (T37, L16, T17 and T7) were mapped based a RIL population of IR1552×Azucena by southern blot analysis. Five genes encode putative or hypothetical protein. To protect the identity of orchid cultivar and the right of the breeders, we successfully develop a novel method by the introduction of foreign DNA sequence (27bp) as molecular marker via BioWare low pressure gene gun into Mormodes lawrence and Zygopetalum mackayi. Histochemical GUS transient expression was obtained from aleurone layer and embryo of Zea mays using BioWare low pressure gene gun with acceleration pressure of 50psi. This is the first report on successful transfer into plant tissue using BioWare low pressure gene gun.
