The spiny eel , belonging to Perciformes, Osteichthyes, is a kind of little freshwater fish distributed in Southern China. In 1998, Our lab detected XX/XY differentiated sex chromosomes in this specie with karyotypic analysis, and then with chromosomal binding and SC observation, we identified that its two largest metacentric chromosomes were X, Y sex chromosomes in 1999. X, Y chromosomes differ each other not only in the distribution of heterochromatin but also in their shapes, which make them could be recognized directly under the light-microscope without any banding treatment.

刺鳅，属鲈形目、刺鳅科(Perciformes，Mastacembelidae)，是广泛分布于中国南方的小型淡水鱼类。1998年，我室通过核型分析，首次发现该物种具有明显分化的异形性染色体，其性别决定类型为XX／XY型。1999年，本室通过染色体显带、精母细胞联会复合体观察，再次确认刺鳅染色体组中最大的一对中部着丝粒染色体为X、Y性染色体，两者不仅已经出现结构异染色质分布上的不同，同时在外部形态上也存在明显差异，识别特征鲜明，在光镜观察下无需显带即能清晰辨认性染色体。

Possible impacts of the tripolar SST anomalies on the decadal scale variability of the North Atlantic climate are also discussed. The dominant mod e of the North Atlantic wintertime SST variability exhibits a meridional tri-polar pattern, with a colder subpolar region, a warmer midlatitudes, and a colder region between the equator and 30°N. Validations on the model performance show that the BCM reproduces the observed NAO pattern and the tri-polar like SST vari ability mode successfully.

Results Analysis of the expression of proteins of JAK2 in leukemic blasts, there was no detectable constitutive expression of phosphorylated JAK2 in all the AML samples analyzed; Furthermore, we could detect a constitutive activation of STAT 3 by immunoprecipitation of the targeted protein in primary leukemic blasts from 3 of 11 AML patients without any cytokine treatment; Pretreatment clinical characteristics, and treatment regimens did not differ significantly between patients with and without constitutive STAT3 activity, there was not significant relation between the constitutive activation of STAT3 and the FAB subvariety and chromosome karyotype; However, the 3 patients with constitutive STAT3 activity seemed to have adverse treatment outcome, one did not show remission, the other two patients relapsed shortly after remission; Consistent with the above-mentioned result, leukemic blasts from the 3 samples with constitutive expression of STAT3 showed higher percentage of spontaneous apoptosis and S-phase cells.

在实验研究基础上，本研究进一步运用免疫沉淀和Western Blot印迹方法，检测AML患者原代细胞JAK2和STAT3活化情况，并分析了STAT3活化与AML患者预后有关指标改变的关系。结果我们的初步研究发现，11例AML患者中，有3例呈现STAT3组成型活化（STAT3阳性，下同），无一例呈JAK2组成型活化。上述3例STAT3组成型活化与FAB分型和染色体核型改变未见明显相关性；在此3例患者中，1例未取得缓解，另外2例虽然取得短暂缓解，但均在二个月内复发。上述3例STAT3阳性AML患者S期白血病细胞百分率数值较组高，而凋亡率数值较低。

In 8 cases, both the results were consistent excepting for minor discrepancies.③In 3 cases, including 2 each with triploidy and tetraploidy respectively, and one with chimeric karyotype of normal/+22, the results from the two methods were discrepant.
