Collections made during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan (1895–1945) are of special interest in that they mark the first attempt at a truly comprehensive botanical inventory of the island. Unfortunately, these early collections are not widely distributed and are often in poor condition in Taiwanese herbaria.

In the present project,the project group investigated Cololejeunea flora of some provinces of China, collected over 500 specimens of Cololejeunea and over 7000 specimens of other liverworts,and borrowed over 3500 specimens （including 416 types）from other important herbaria. The species diversity and distribution weree clarified preliminary by means of mophologocal and ecologoical observation and studies on oil bodies and chromosomes as well as bioactivity of some species.

Methods Four lumbosacral spinal specimens of human were used to manufacture the intact segmental specimen, then the specimen models were worked out by cutting the isthmic of intact specimens with wire-saw, and then one pure bone-towel or one anterior fusing cage was inserted separately into the model's interbody space to stable the model. Methods In the conventional internal quality control in the control specimens after the test day, a specimen which total protein result was 60-80 gL^(-1), and albumin result was 30-50 gL^(-1) was selected from the first ten specimens every day, the specimen's TP and ALB results were retested after 3 hours. The difference between the two test results and the difference of the standard deviation were calculated every day for 40 days. Extreme difference quality control chart was established by control limits of range which was calculated by the standard deviation.
