The English Curriculum Criteria issued in 2001 puts forward somenew concepts for the English Language Teaching reform of foundationaleducation in China. But today the ELT practice needs to develop a lot to meetthem. The key issue is how to introduce the new concepts into the practice. Sothis thesis tries to research the Multiple Intelligences Theoryapplies into the ELT to implement ECC successfully.

年颁布的《英语课程标准》，为我国基础英语教学改革提出了新理念，而当前英语教学实践与这些新要求相距甚远，如何将先进的理念引入到实践中成为实施《英语课程标准》的关键问题，为此本文从理论与实践的角度，探讨借鉴多元智力理论落实新课程改革精神。
