The paper takes America institution accreditation as an example, and analyzed the constitutor, the content and the trend of accreditation criteria. According to these, we find out that constitutors must be diversified, that accreditation criteria should have more in common while reserving some differences, that teaching quality can be guaranteed from the part of students. This is the key to guaranteeing and improving quality of higher education.
