Detailed description has been given individually to the abnormal colours, lineament and circular structure and image features on the multi-geographycal information composite image. We have studied the ore control effect of circular and lineament structure to the multimetal ore, and come to the point that the Xianghualing region is a complex ore control area by circular and lineament structure.Therefore, we build a remote sensing imag model for ore field in the region. Within the circular structure, the northwest lineament crosses the northweast lineament and forms frames that control the metal ore distribution. According to the features of the found deposits and their coherent image, we conclude that there are two symbols for ore looking.

Focusing on the PGE enrichment mechanism in the basic-ultrabasic intrusions in the Panxi rift, firstly, through the interpretation of TM photograph, data processing of regional geochemical exploration and geophysical prospecting results of gravity, magnetic force and seism, we analyzed the controlling effect of structure and magmatic movement on the PGE mineralization; Secondly, through the study of volcanic apparatus, petrography, measurement of comprehensive geochemical section, isotope tracing and dating of typical PGE-rich melanocratic rock series, we discussed the sources of the PGE-bearing mafic-ultramafic intrusions and basalts, their timing, evolvement sequences, the geochemical processes of magma crystallization and fractionation, and the relationship between magma evolution and structural development; Finally, through the analysis of PGE and chalcophile elements concentrations in the melanocratic rock series and the contrastive study with the Noril''sk magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE sulfide deposit, its related continental flood basalts and Siberia Traps, we discussed PGE mineralization characteristics and its enrichment mechanisms in the melanocratic rock series in the Panxi rift.

In order to elucidate the effect of the texture, structure and particle size of aggregate on determining its ASR reactivity, the texture, structure and ASR features of zeolitic pearlite and siliceous gravel were examined by optical microscope, XRD and SEM/EDS. It has been found that in addition to the type and amount of reactive constituents in aggregate, the physical structure has also strong influences on the process and expansion behavior of ASR, and the influences of physical structure may be various with particle size of aggregate.

Using tectonic subsidence history modeling and denudating relationship between hanging wall and foot wall in Mesozoic faults, fault activity characteristics were discussed.
