Inthis work, by using the boundary element method and the joint theory, thewhole machine structure is equivalently modeled by beam elements and spring elements,the corresponding whole machine static model is constructed and the basic propertyparameters of the unit surface of the joints are introduced. The optimal design method based on thegenetic algorithm is proposed with the whole machine structure of multiple variablerestrains the optimal design software is developed as well.
