In Chapter 2,I consider a queuing system in which there are two exponential servers, each having his own queue, and arriving customers will join the two queues separately, and analyze the two-dimensional Markov process representing the numbers of jobs in the two stations. A functional equation for the generating function of the stationary distribution of this two-dimensional process is derived and solved through the theory of Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problems. In Chapter 3, I consider the system with two parallel queues, in which arrivals join the shorter queue.I describe the problem of coupling and show that the generating function Fcan be continued as a meromorphic function to the whole complex plane.

This paper has discussed in detail the characteristic method being the same with the compressive flow and the Priessmann solution being the same with the free-surface-pressure flow. And how to deal with boundary conditions has been expatiated. Also hydraulic transient process of tremendous load fluctuation in the tail tunnels with sloping ceiling has been numerical simulated and the Fortran program for numerical simulation has been given. The paper gain the maximal press for tail end of the shell, the maximal rising rate of rotational speed of generating set, the maximal vacuum degree for inlet of the tail tunnels and so on under 11 kinds conditions of tremendous load fluctuation. These conditions include the design conditions, the check conditions and the superposition conditions. Finally, the computing results have been analyzed and summarized. The end chapter is the general comment of the whole-length content and the describing of the intending view of researching.

In the study of the Lagrange stability of impact motion, we give some conditions of the bouncing solution of the asymptotically linear equation which is bounded or unbounded. Outside of a large disc, using the symplectic transformation of the Hamilton system to estimate the iteration of the successor map. Applying the Moser's small twist theorem, we get the invariant curves and then give the proof of the bouncing solutions which is bounded. We will estimate the successor map of the equation directly for proving the unboundedness of the bouncing solutions.
