The results indicated that adoption of CFRP sheet could effectively improve not only the bearing capacity and stiffness but also the safety margin of RC beams. The bearing capacity of RC beams increased with the number of layers of CFRP sheets. The most economical and effective way was using single layer of CFRP sheet.
