And dung pellets of rabbits or goats that had been autoclaved can be used to induce many kinds of fruiting bodies of the Myxobacteria in different colors, sizes, and shapes. We isolated and purified Myxobacteria strains with the improved method which was found by our laboratory.

本实验以采集自越南以及我国的云南、河北、陕西各地的土样和各种树皮、腐木作为实验材料，利用兔、羊粪球和滤纸作为基质诱导出多种颜色丰富、形态多样的粘细菌子实体，采用本实验室摸索出的较为有效的纯化粘细菌的方法，在实验器材上用24孔细胞培养板代替传统的平皿，有效地缩短了粘细菌的纯化周期，提高了分离纯化的效率。

Determination of functional components in foods and Chinese herbs as well as evaluation of biological activity – Both foods and Chinese herbs investigated include soybean, Ziziphus jujuba , Lycium barbarum , Gynostemma pentaphyllum , Taraxacum formosanum , Rhinacanthus nasutus , Scutellaria barbata , etc. Functional components investigated include carotenoid, chlorophyll, flavonoid, phenolic acid, polysaccharide, saponin, isoflavone, etc. In my lab we have developed many LC-MS methods for determination of these components and proved their antiproliferation effect on cancer cells and anti-inflammatory activity.

食品及中草药有效成分测定及其对生物活性的影响-探讨的食品包括大豆、蕃茄、芒果等等，中草药包括红枣、枸杞、七叶胆、蒲公英、仙鹤灵芝草、半枝莲等等，有效成分则包括类胡萝卜素、叶绿素、类黄酮、酚酸、多醣、皂苷、异黄酮等等，本实验室已成功开发多种LC-MS方法测定这些成分并证实这些成分具有抑制癌细胞增生及抗发炎的功效，已有多篇论文发表於国际著名期刊。

Cells were collected to undergo HE staining and immunocytochemistry reaction against Thy-1 to identify RGCs. Axons length of retinal neurons and RGCs were measured by microruler under microscope respectively to evaluate the neurotropic effects of B vitamins in improving the regeneration and growth of axons for retinal neurons and RGCs. Finally, we observed the reaction of retinal neurons when exposed to the insult of glucose deprivation. The neuroprotection of B vitamins were also evaluated at the same time.

At the same time, artificial neural network was adopted to put forward a new thoughtfulness and effective method for evaluating mineral resources synthetically, which can break through restrictions of statistical models on synthetical assessment of mineral resources. Shooting at nodi and pivotal problems in GIS-based mineral resources assessment, the integration of assessing methods of mineral resources, GIS technology and artificial neural network were emphasized.

In the hydroxylation of phenol with H〓O〓 in the presence of Ti-ZSM-5, water is best solvent. It produces catechol and hydroquinone simultaneously, and catechol/hydroquinone ratio is approximately 0.85. The results show H〓O〓 utilization ratio increase 14%, when nonoxidizable weak acid HAc is added into the reaction system. Under the conditions of Ti-ZSM-5 as catalyst, phenol/H〓O〓 ratio being 10, a little HAc, temperature 75℃, reaction time 6h, H〓O〓 utilization ratio reaches 74. 6mo1% in the reaction.
