Among these results, we suggested that the monomer structure play a important role between E-O performances and morphology. From SEM photograph, the beadlike morphology was obtained from monomers without spacers. On the other hand, the filberlike morphology was obtained from monomers with spacers. It's suggested that the more harder structure will lead to the former, and the more softer structure will lead to the latter.

For the purpose of research on relationship between liquid crystal phenomena and blood compatibility, the propionic, n-butyric esters of hydroxypropyl cellulose were prepared with hydroxypropyl cellulose and propionyl chloride/ butyryl chloride. The reaction conditions and phase behavior have been studied. The results show that the reaction time, temperature and amount of propionyl chloride have effect on content of propionyl, and the amount of proionyl chlorideis more obvious than the other factors.

Is Cetyl Trimethy-lammonium Bromide can increase the UV intensity of Al(superscript 3+)-MXFX is discovered. Based on this reaction, the reaction conditions in detail and proposed a simple, rapid and sensitive new method for the determination of MXFX by UV method is inve stigated. This method has been applied for the determination of MXFX in tablet with satisfactory results.
