By means of integral inequality and Kartsatos transformation, we investigate first-order impulsive delay dynamic equations on time scales. Several sufficient conditions of oscillation are obtained.

The stability of Lurie type control systems with multiple time-delays and nonlinearities is considered. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, using an improved new integral inequality and the method of linear matrix inequality, a refined method called the integral inequality approach is presented.

The major contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1) Based on integral inequality, an LMI approach to the robust stability, robust stabilization and robust H_∞control of uncertain continuous-time and discrete-time linear singular systems with time-varying delay is developed.

Using the intermediate value theorem in this analysis, the approximate problem in original analysis has been solved partly.
