To investigate whether syrinx should by treated before correction in patients with scoliosis complicated by syringomyelia without neurologic impairment.

探讨伴脊髓空洞症的脊柱侧凸患者在无神经症状且达到矫形指征时应否于矫形之前对脊髓空洞进行外科处理。

结果(1)脑血管梅毒1例，脊髓痨2例；(2)3例血和脑脊液的梅毒抗体均为阳性；脑脊液蛋白含量增加、细胞数增多；(3)脑血管梅毒患者MRA及DSA显示左大脑中动脉M1段闭塞；左大脑前动脉及左大脑后动脉通过皮层支向左大脑中动脉供血区代偿供血；(4)2例脊髓痨患者头颅及胸髓MRI无特殊发现，肌电图及周围神经活检不支持周围神经受损。

Results:(1) cerebrovascular syphilis 1 case, tabes dorsalis 2 cases;(2) mall cases. Serum and cercbrospinal fluid syphilis antibody reaction showed positive; CSF protein content was increased significantly, and cells in creased (3) MRA and DSA of cerebroascular syphilis show that Mi segment of the left middle cerebral artery is blocked. The left posterior cerebral artery and the left anterior cerebral artery compensate blood supply for the left middle cerebral artery through the conical branch.(4) MRI of head and thoracic cord was normal in 2 cases of tabes dorsalia. Result of EMG and biopsy of suml nerve not manifest damage of peripheral nerveous system.

结果：(1)脑血管梅毒1例，脊髓痨2例；(2)3例血和脑脊液的梅毒抗体均为阳性；脑脊液蛋白含量增加、细胞数增多：(3)脑血管梅毒患者MRA及DSA显示左大脑中动脉M1段闭塞；左大脑前动脉及左大脑后动脉通过皮层支向左大脑中动脉供血区代偿供血；(4)2例脊髓痨患者头颅及胸髓MRI无特殊发现，肌电图及周围神经活检不支待周围神经受损。

It is thought that there's an independent neural pathway through which itch is transferred mainly by peripheral unmyelinated C fibers to the most superficial part of dorsal horn, then the lamina Ⅰ spinothalamic tract ascends to the thalami and further projects to the cortex.

Although the collateral sprouting and synaptic reinnervation were shown also in spinal cord of operated side in 34 days spared root rats, they were slower than that of morphine spared root group.

But in 24h experiment group, the decreases of the indexes are not statistically significant. Conclusion Early application of rhEPO could lessen the lesion of neuromotor function and secondary pathology change. The protection is partially due to the reduction of expression of Caspase-3 and neural cell apoptosis.

结果：与对照组相比，脊髓损伤后rhEPO1小时，6小时处理组神经运动功能和继发性病理损害明显改善，脊髓Caspase-3的表达明显下降(P 0.01)；而术后24小时组与对照组相比，脊髓神经细胞凋亡指数及Caspase-3的表达下降均无统计学意义。

Result Compared to concurrent control groups, neuromotor function are significantly improved in 1h and 6h experiment group. The indexes of neural cell apoptosis decreased significantly (P 0.01). But in 24h experiment group, the decrease of the index are not statistically significant. Conclusion Early application of rhEPO could lessen the lesion of neuromotor function. The protection is partially due to the reduction of neural cell apoptosis.

结果：与对照组相比，脊髓损伤后促红细胞生成素1小时，6小时实验组神经运动功能明显改善，脊髓神经细胞凋亡指数均明显下降(P 0.01)；而术后24小时组与对照组相比，脊髓神经细胞凋亡指数的下降无统计学意义结论：早期应用外源性EPO对脊髓不完全损伤后引起的神经运动功能损害具有保护作用，此种保护作用可能与EPO能够减少神经细胞凋亡有关。

Sensory impairment and urinary dysfunction also had developed, and paraparesis persisted after the hypokalemia was corrected during hospitalization. An optokinetic nystagmus test showed bilateral sick waves and at the same time a cerebrospinal fluid analysis was normal. A blood examination disclosed borderline anti-nuclear antibodies and an elevated serum IgG level. 一50岁女性，因为眩晕、前额头痛、视力模糊、恶心、呕吐及两侧下肢无力而求诊，於低血钾矫正后，两侧下肢无力依然持续，并发生胸部以下感觉缺损及排尿困难等现象，视运动性眼振检查显示两侧波形障碍，脑脊液检查正常，血液学检查显示抗核酸抗体及血清IgG指数偏高，显影剂增强磁振造影显示颈段脊髓肿大且略为显影，并无脑干或视神经的病灶，诊断为急性横断性脊髓炎，给予静脉注射类固醇后症状逐渐缓解。
