Snow in 1959, in theory, the general education should be to make up for the limitation of the academic mind caused by the excessive subdivisions of disciplines. Currently, the curriculum of general education in Taiwan University is often used as the professional standard as to the concept in contents, or with science and natural sciences related fields, it may even be set as a leading role in balance seeking. It is; therefore, doubtable that while college education devotes in breaking the barriers of knowledge or academic disciplines, and attempts to establish enriched yet systematic general education, at the same time, helplessly returns to the breakthrough of academic condition described by C.P. Snow where "the Humanities" and "the Science" still confront anxiously. This would not only fail to achieve the consilience in knowledge but also lead to a possible fracture.

P Snow在1959所提出「种文化」的概上进发展的话，那麼通教育在上应该是弥补学科分工过细、导致学术心受到限制的现象；然而目前台湾的大学通教育，由於经常被当成与「专业」相标举的内容概，甚至是被定成与工或自然科学等相关域寻求平衡或对话的角色，因此免让人怀疑：当大学教育致於打破知或学科的藩篱，并且试图建丰富而有系统的通教育时，是否无且吊诡地重新走回史当时所描述并尝试突破改变的学术况－「人文」与「科学」依然充满紧张与对，知仅难以达到融通、甚至陷入另一种断的可能？

The word "education" derives from the Latin educare, meaning,"to draw forth fromwithin." In our culture, however, education often means,"to pound in from without."

这个词"教育"在拉丁语中意思是"从内在中引出"在我们的文化中，然而，教育通常代表的是"从无中去生产"

A total of 156 cases MD patient, who had been treated in our hospital from 2004 to 2006 and left the hospital with ideal control level, were at randomly divided into group A (n=80 cases) and group B (n=76 cases). The patients in group A insisted on receiving the guidance of professional nurse for once a month in outpatient department, while the patients in group B had no such guidance.

对2004年至2006年在我院治疗达到理想控制水平出院的156例患者随机分A组（n=78例）和B组（n=78例）。A组坚持每月来门诊接受门诊专职护士教育指导一次，监督患者按医嘱坚持治疗；B组则无进行教育指导。

Based on the analysis of this study, the major counseling and guidance principles are establishing and maintaining good relationship between teacher and student, accepting and advising children, fairness, teacher's words conforming with higher actions, and other counselling viewpoints; the essential principles of adaptation include a positive attitude toward reality, self-directing and hard working, proper combination of toughness and gentleness, survival in distress, and other viewpoints relative to the adaptation of oneself to the external environment; and leadership principles include using normative power, contingency, and the important characteristics associated with leaders.

The results showed that older age, women, widowed, low level education , unemployed, have religious belief and low income, obesity ,unhealth status, many doctor visits, no exercise and low sleep hours have bad quality of sleep.

研究结果发现，年龄越大、女性、丧偶、教育程度低、无工作、有宗教信仰以及个人收入较低者、肥胖者(BMI≧27)、自觉健康状况不佳、就医次数多、无运动以及睡眠时数小於6小时者的睡眠品质较不理想。

本研究针对国人睡眠品质以及失眠情形加以探讨，研究结果显示，年龄越大、女性、丧偶、教育程度低、无工作、有宗教信仰以及个人收入较低者、肥胖者(BMI≧27)、自觉健康状况不佳、就医次数多、无运动以及睡眠时数小於6小时者的睡眠品质有较严重的情形；其中性别、婚姻状况、教育程度、身体质量指数、自觉健康状况、就医次数、运动状态以及睡眠时数小於6小时者是影响睡眠品质的因素。
