无我的

Love's Inconsistency I find no peace, and all my war is done; I fear hope, I burn and freeze likewise; I fly above the wind, yet cannot rise; And nought I have, yet all the world I seize on; That looseth, nor locketh, holdeth me in prison, And holds me not, yet can I 'scape no wise; Nor lets me live, nor die, at my devise, And yet of death it giveth none occasion, Without eyes I see, and without tongue I plain; I wish to perish, yet I ask for health; I love another, and yet I hate myself; I feed in sorrow, and laugh in all my pain; Lo, thus displeaseth me both death and life, And my delight is causer of my grief.

And you will say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will come upon those at rest, dwelling securely, all of them dwelling without walls, without bars or doors

38：11 说，我要上那无城墙的村庄之地；我要到那平静安居的民那里，他们都安然居住，没有城墙，无门无闩

You will say, I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people--all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.

To our surprise, the Buddha does not praise his enthusiastic monastic followers for their unremitting dedication to the non-Self doctrine and its meditative cultivation, but actually castigates them for having fallen into "extremes".

让我们吃惊的是，佛陀没有表扬他的热心的僧侣修炼者由于他们的不懈的奉献给无我的教义而且他的冥想修炼，但是完全申斥他们已经掉入了极端。

Hence we conclude that there is positively no real Atman; that there are only various consciousnesses which, since before the beginning of time, have followed one another, the subsequent one arising with the disappearance of the antecedent, and thus a continuous series of causes and effects (karmic seeds－actual dharmas－karmic seeds) is formed; and that, by the perfuming energy of false thinking, an image of a pseudo-Atman arises in the consciousness, and it is this pseudo-Atman which the ignorant take for a real Atman.

因此可以确定的说：一定毫无实实在在的我；只有诸识在自己无始开始存在以来，於分段生死中相续不断，自己的存在无始以来前灭后生，在因因果果、果果因因中相续不断，因著业力的虚妄熏习，出现假我的种种现象，就误以为有我，故无知的愚者自以为有ㄧ个实我。（韦达在此将《成唯识论》的「诸识」翻成「几种不同的识」，指的是种子识、末那识、眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意等八个识，在不同时空分段生死中，所起的外延与内涵、作用不同，所以才用「不同的」various一词。其次，他把「无始时来」翻成「since before the beginning of time」，就尚德对佛法的了解而言，佛法所指的「无始」不是指「时间的本身」，而是指众生生命开始的那个时刻，叫做「无始」。----------译者

The students begins to develop a mind that hardens itself when pain arises. It is only natural that this happens as it take a lot of courage and fortitude to watch pain in this way. A type of aversion is naturally developed at that time, and this hardening of mind is not being noticed as anicca, dukkha, anatta.

学生们在痛苦生起时会生起一种紧绷僵化的状态，因为当我们以强大的勇气和毅力如此观察痛苦时，是很自然会发生这种现象的，而此时，也会自然地生起一种瞋恨心，而这样紧绷僵化的心是不会发现到无常、苦、无我的真相的。
