This paper analyzed the nutrient content of Andrias davidianus, including protein, fat, calcium and phosphorus; compared the nutrient content of 17 amino acids in protein and the main trace elements in muscle of Andrias davidianus with other high-quality aquatic products (fish, shellfish, shrimp, turtle class, frogs, and snakes); and concluded that Andrias davidianus is a new kind of aquaculture with high nutritional value and significant economic benefits.
