Singapore Tzu Chi volunteers have been caring for HIV/AIDS patients for more than a decade. A gathering is convened every two months for the patients to have the chance to encourage each other. Among them was an Indonesia woman who, upon her marriage, emigrated to Singapore. Suffering from HIV/AIDS, she was once in despair, but her contact with Tzu Chi also led her to finding an emotional outlet and a different life. Now the woman hopes to recontribute by becoming a member of the local recycling station.
