The paper has studied systematically fluid flow behaviors in argon blowing process in ladle furnace and told more suitable position and quantity for blowing argon by means of water model and mathematical simulation, according to the Ladle Furnace of Shi Jiazhuang Iron and Steel Corporation. And it optimized the ladle construction and fluid flow behaviors, so it provided the molten steel with perfect temperature and composition.
