摘要

This article analyses the generic and textual features, sentence patterns and lexical features of both Chinese and English articles. Then based on what has been found, possible ways of translating Chinese abstracts into English are discussed.

本文首先对汉英摘要在语篇类型、语篇特征及词句特点等方面进行了比较分析，并根据比较的结果对其在各个层面的翻译进行了讨论，为汉语摘要的英译提供了一些可行的方法。
