But the content of the long chain unsaturated fatty acid and its ester ingredient reduces from 41.58% and 18.88% by one stage separation method to 29.06% and 9.86% by two-stage separations method respectively, also the phenol compound by two-stage separations method can been separated completely.

对荆芥挥发油采用两级分离的研究表明：酮类化合物的总含量由二级分离的54.95%远高于一级分离的12.14%，其中胡薄荷酮和薄荷酮的含量分别由一级分离的3.37%和3.46%增加到二级分离的19.34%和22.95%，而长链不饱和脂肪酸及其酯类成分含量分别从一级分离法的41.58%和18.88%降低到二级分离法的29.06%和9.86%，且二级分离法已完全除去酚类化合物。
