Mo isotopic signatures in sediments can be used as an indicator for redox conditions of paleo-environment and corresponding paleo-oceanography. Therefore, molybdenum isotopes can be used as a powerful tool for understanding the redox conditions of local or regional depositional environment, the biogeochemical cycle of sulfur or carbon, and the geochemical evolution of ancient oceans.

The research achievement are acquired as follows: 1From mathematical models for inverse scattering in two dimensional homogenous media including Dirichlet, Neumann, Robin,all kinds of probable mixed boundaries and cracks, direct and inverse scattering are discussed, and ill-posed integral equation and indicator function method are formulated for the diverse of boundary identification. It is shown that the kernel of the integral equation characters the boundary of scatterer, which is determined by solving it by virtual of regularity method, meanwhile, some numerical tests are given.

本研究取得了如下研究成果： 1）在二维均匀介质逆散射各种边界识别的数学模型（包括Dirichlet，Neumann，Robin，各种可能的混合边界问题，裂纹问题）下，分别考虑了正散射问题和逆散射问题，推导了上述各种边界识别的不适定积分方程以及指示函数方法，由于积分方程的核充分表征了散射物的边界，由此说明只要利用正则化方法求解该积分方程，就可以确定散射物的边界，并给出了一些数值实验。

Distribution of biogenic silica content in surface sediments from deep water areas showed that it could not only reflect the paleoproductivity of siliceous micropaleontology in surface waters, but also indicate the strong or feeble upwelling. Thus, it was further confirmed that using biogenic silica content in sediments to trace upwelling and its change was effective and reliable. The analyzed result showed that radiolaria and poriferous specula have more contribution for biogenic opal, comparing with diatom in surface sediments from the northern studied area, probably owing to the diatom dissolved easily away and eaten by other organisms with little effort.

结果 香山群的时代划归为中晚寒武世较合适；香山群主体是一套由板岩、细、粉砂岩和砂岩组成的浊积岩系，其砂岩类型主要是长石石英砂岩、细粒石英砂岩和粉砂质石英砂岩，前寒武纪变沉积岩和花岗片麻岩为主要碎屑来源和物源区组成；砂岩的岩石地球化学特征指示香山群属发育在被动大陆边缘斜坡环境中的沉积物，火山岩岩石地球化学特征反映其应属大洋扩张构造环境下的大洋拉斑玄武岩系列。

In this sea area, the main origin of the detrital minerals is Hainan island, and the characteristics of genetic mineralogy of the zicon and garnet indicate that the detrital minerals mainly come from regional mid-degree-metamorphic area.

The conclusions are as follows: Various depositional environment is of its particular indicator element association. F-Cl-Br-I-Ca-Mg association reflects the relative age and proportion of marine sediments, N-S-OrgC, I-Hg and Y-Ce-La association indicates respectively the lake facies, lagoonal facies and terrestrial facies depositional environment.

结果表明：各沉积环境有其特征的指示元素或组合，F、Cl、Br、I、Ca和Mg元素组合可反映海相沉积物的新老和比例；N、S、OrgC组合，I、Hg组合和Y、Ce、La等稀土和稀有元素组合分别指示湖相、泻湖相和陆相沉积环境。

Geochemical characteristics of 36 Tertiary mudstone samples from Kuqa depression show that the content of CaO is very high, which can somewhat dilute other major elements, trace elements and rare elements. Some reliable indicators for provenance analysis show the source rock nature of noncarbonate sediments. The REE distribution pattern is similar to that of the upper continental crust, characterized by enrichment of LREE and negative Eu anomalies. Some trace element ratios show that the source rocks are mainly felsic.
